Forgiveness Circles

Forgiveness Circles are intimate gatherings where we create a simple altar to honor what we're ready to release, then recite the Ho’oponopono prayer 108 times together. Rooted in the principles of Radical Forgiveness, these circles recognize that all forgiveness is ultimately self-forgiveness, and that healing doesn’t require changing the past, only our relationship to it. Each circle often centers around a theme, like self-worth, family, money, or letting go to help focus our collective intention and guide the altar offerings. These short, heartfelt sessions are currently hosted in my home and are open to anyone ready to lighten their emotional load with love and intention.

Our first Forgiveness Circle will be themed around money and our relationship to it. The intention is that it will be a tender and powerful space to explore the stories, emotions, and energy we carry around finances. You're invited to bring items that represents your money stories or intentions to place in the center of the altar (you’re welcome to sit in front of what you bring) and you can also bring items to sit close by you if you’d like. I’ve said the Ho’oponopono to my bank account while staring at my phone…so trust me, anything goes! This offering is for everyone, no matter how prosperous you are (or aren't) right now. Maybe you're calling in a big manifestation, or trying to heal old scarcity patterns, or in financial crisis, or maybe you're simply ready to feel more peace or generosity. Wherever you are on your money journey, you’re welcome. Show up as you are.

Our next Forgiveness Circle will focus on relationships. These are any connection with another person that’s asking for healing, clarity, or release. This could be a current relationship or a past one. We’ll build a shared altar together, and you’re invited to bring photos or objects that remind you of the person you’re focusing on. You’re welcome to place it in the center or keep it with you during the circle, wherever it feels most supportive. Your thoughts and energy will be gently directed toward this relationship as we move through the Ho’oponopono practice. Whether you're holding grief, frustration, love, or hope, this space is here for you. Come as you are.

This Forgiveness Circle will be centered on the soul of our country, specifically, the deep wounds left behind by its foundation in genocide and slavery. This gathering is very important to me to host, though I’ve felt some apprehension, because I’ve always believed politics don’t belong in this space. But this isn't about politics, it’s about healing. While Radical Forgiveness teaches that all forgiveness is ultimately self forgiveness, this circle is not about personal blame. None of us were the architects of these atrocities, but many of us carry inherited shame, guilt, anger, or fear in our bodies, often without even realizing it. This practice is a chance to gently clear those energies and help heal the collective by bringing love, unity, and truth back into the conversation.

We’ll create a shared altar together, and I invite you to bring items that reflect your intention for healing…something that contributes to the spirit of remembrance, truth, or reconciliation. You’re welcome to place your item(s) in the center, and if you’d like, you’ll have a chance to briefly share why you chose it before we begin. This circle is offered with deep reverence and hope for what we can transform together.
